A black pot-bellied pig seems to have found a new home in Dovea Street. Motorists passing by practically stop and stare at this strange phenomenon. Despite asking around, no one has claimed ownership of the large black pig. In the meantime, the pig is having a feast in Dovea Street. Some of the residents put out birdfeed for the pig to snack on. It seems to be tame, indicating that it does indeed have an owner. It does not flee when approached by people. It has been said that a pot-bellied pig is a great alternative to cats and dogs. Pigs are also known for being very smart animals; they are the fourth smartest species in the world! When they are properly trained, they can even be walked on a leash like a dog. This particular species can grow to be very large, and needs to roam in open spaces. Territorial issues can become a problem. If a pot-bellied pig is not looked after properly it can become dangerous to people. Concerned residents, however, request that the owner keep the pig safe in a pen so that it will not be run over by a careless motorist.
