Black reality tv is todays version of The Black and White Minstrel Show and the characters in these shows are just as controversial as the Blackface. What is being displayed is, yes these people have prominent positions yet they have no class. Because they are in the mainstream media platform this is how the world will see the majority from the display from these representatives. You may see this as entertainment yet the rest of the world see this as absolute. I remember when we were on tour in Germany and there were those who saw us as great entertainers yet off stage we were assumed to be gangsters because that is what they saw on their televisions in regards to African Americans. Why must people misrepresent and not see the damage they are doing? Something to think about especially if you consider yourself a believer and witness of Jesus Christ. ~sbm
