Blade 350 QX V2. (AP Version) Attached Decals and upgraded and installed Multistar motors this morning. APC 9x4.7 props on the way. And while I had the cover off I decided to copper shield inside the nose area and move the GPS and Antenna back to version 1 location and Copper shield parts of my Gopro 3+ camera. Motor replacement was very easy, just drop in and off you go. Moving the GPS Antenna and Receiver back to original place above battery was easy. Shielding was easy and used Copper tape bought from the hardware store for repelling Snails. Ok.... now to test. I havent taken it for a test flight yet but have hovered it in my yard and I must say that I am already impressed. No interference from Gopro 3+. Fast GPS lock on. Motors are alot quieter. Previously I had to turn off the Gopro and its Wifi ability and even then it would take more than 4 minutes to get a GPS lock. Now its a rock solid 31 seconds. I can even have the Gopro and Wifi turned on and then turn on the Quad and STILL get 31 seconds solid lock! I dont have a open clear sky in my back yard as it is a town house villa. More like a little garden with a metal shade roof and yet still get a solid GPS lock in 31 seconds. Why the hell would they move the GPS when it CLEARLY doesnt work where they moved it to?. Especially with the Antenna on its side. Lol Also enjoying the Telemetry module i installed which i have checking Main power voltage, Receiver voltage, Signal strength, Altimeter and Temp inside the body.
