Blatant propaganda to massage the peoples disorder and manipulate the discourse. That same police officer is very likely responsible for the abuse and subjective arrests of many innocent people. A police officer is a uniform position (like the military) with unsaid expectations by their peers and their executives. The Ferguson issue, like Rodney King, is much more than one of ethnicity and color. The problem is uneducated, violent civil servants on the streets with guns. They are allowed and encouraged to run free and impose their football standard of morality upon whomever they deem villainous or impure. Abuses such as this are common place for all colors, ages and genders. Abuses like Ferguson, King, false arrests, the raping of women, boys and young girls happen everyday. Images like this foster the continuous idealizing and acceptance of police brutality and ignorance. As an artist, this image should scream the obviousness of social/political spinning.
