Blech - Weekly Meth Hangover so Im laying bed with my dog, watching Nickmom Night Out and HBD is going to 7-11 to pick me up Snickers Ice cream bars. Chocolate ice cream makes everything better. Um...YEAH....I just realized I should probably explain the whole Meth Hangover thing before you get crazy and start calling Facebook DCFS. Meth Hangover is my familys nickname for the weekly side effects of a medicine I have to take. Every Thursday I have to take Methotrexate. 24-48 hours after taking it, I get really tired, pukey, and feel like I have brain damage for about a day. (Im not joking, today in a discussion about a recipe, I called chicken broth...chicken urine.) Needless to say, Friday nights suck dirty donkey knuckles. But by Saturday, Im back to my fabulous self and ready for Starbucks. In efforts to make the crappy stuff manageable with humor, we come up with warped names for stuff and make fun of stuff as much as we can. So...thats how Moms Meth Hangover was born. You can put your pitchforks down now. ;) Its cool. I promise. In other news...HBD better hurry up with that ice cream!!! Goodnight All. XOX
