Blenda Neziri (My uncles daughter) Message for Peace in the World In times like these, it is truly enlightening to see the Albanian religious leaders of Islam, Christianity and Catholicism walk arm in arm as they march in Paris, showing solidarity for the 17 victims of the terror attack. This is a true example of religious peace, tolerance and inter-faith harmony within a nation that should be demonstrated worldwide. These four men, and millions of others today of different ethnic and demographic groups, have shown that it is not for the love of religion that one commits a barbaric act, but because of extremism, lack of humanity, mental instability and pure madness. -There is a rather beautiful characteristic of Albania, one which gives me great joy: I am referring to the peaceful coexistence and collaboration that exists among followers of different religions.The climate of respect and mutual trust between Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims is a precious gift to the country. [So], may no one use religion as a pretext for actions against human dignity and against the fundamental rights of every man and woman, above all to the right to life and the right of everyone to religious freedom- Pope Francis
