Blessed Friday, March 21, 2014, from St. Thomas, V. I. Paul writing in the following Scripture verses points out something that to me is very important in order to be at peace with ourselves. Head knowledge of what God says is not sufficient; there must be a relationship in much we trust God unconditionally. God’s Everlasting Love: Romans 8: (NKJV) 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV) 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Here is the clincher, Paul says For I am persuaded..... He was totally convinced that what God says is true and that He could hold on to Gods promises that God loves Him and NOTHING can change that fact. Perhaps you are thinking, well, you dont know what I have done in life. Well, thats none of my business, but God knows about it and if you have confessed it to Him, He has forgiven you and placed it under the Blood of Jesus Christ. Perhaps you have not known love from parents and relatives, but God loves you. Believe it, receive it, and let it penetrate your mind and heart. God loves you! Say, God loves me, over and over till your heart believes it. PRAYER: Father, by faith I believe Pauls account in Romans that You love me completely and unreservedly. You loved me so much that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ to take my place on the Cross. Lord Jesus, by Your Spirit, take control of my heart and emotions; heal my past and come and live within me, even now. Amen!
