Blessed Wodansday to everyone.I am an American Heathen. Im not German, Scandinavian, Icelandic or Rus, Im American. Im not Christian, Jewish, Muslem, socialist or communist, Im Heathen.I. not Asatru, Odinist or Folkish, just Heathen.I believe following the old Gods is my path in life, for me. I have dear friends who are not Heathen, but the common factor that they all have is that they all believe and follow heir own beliefs and ethics honestly and consistently, and I respect that.I dont know who wrote or when they were written, but the Nine Noble Virtues have served me well and I will continue to promote them and honour them with action and by living them. To answer a question posed to me the other day, I do not consider all men and women my brothers and sisters. I choose who i consider worthy of that title, Criminals, rapists, murderers thieves , liars , abusers, terrorists and parasites are the enemy of a healthy people and should be treated as such, not made excuses for and condoned. I do not believe in universal brotherly love, People need to earn your love and respect with good behavior for it to have real value to you and them. As a tribe and a people we should raise the bar on expectations of ourselves and others. Everyone should do the best that they can, the best they are able , instead of constantly lowering it based on need and laziness. All are capable of better behavior, expect it ,demand it, the good will rise to the occasion. May the Gods smile on you and may you be the best and strongest person you are able to be... for yourself.
