“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (2 Cor.1:3-4). We serve a God of all seasons; both in heaven and on earth. In this God Jehovah, there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. According to this God, there is a season in every one’s life for: (1) Tribulation. (2) Troubles. (3) Sufferings. (4) War. (5) Persecutions. (6) Pains. (7) All Comfort. etc. If we are to choose one on this list, I am quite certain that everybody will prefer “All Comfort”. Why? Because all others are the seasons of trials, prisons, limitations, retrogression, agonies, ridicules, shame, disgrace and the others. They are the seasons that no human being will dream to experience in life. We are however destined to experience them as Christians, if we are to obtain our certificate of approval. That was the price Jesus came to pay for us on the Cross. Thank You Jesus for everything! That is why we are easily comforted in any of the seasons of our lives. They are the seasons that Jesus had already paid for by the power of His Blood, death and resurrection, thousands of years ago on the cross. As you are going through your seasons? I want you to bear in mind that Jesus has endured them all on the Cross. If you can see it this way and realize that you are not alone inside the storms, you will have peace and joy. The One who has power over any storms is with us to calm them all. Glory be to God! What seasons are you in now? Are you faced with the (1) Spiritual. (2) Physical. (3) Marital. (4) Unemployment. (5) Educational. (6) Psychological. (7) Financial (8) Disease seasons? Or any others? Calm down brethren! Every one’s season has been ordained from above. You cannot skip your season, if, Jesus did not. If Jesus overcame, yours will not swallow you up. Quitters never win and winners never quit! It was after the Cross experience that Jesus was crowned and glorified. There’s no comfort for anyone who skips his or her season of challenges, because it is the season of the proof of your Christianity and approval of your works on earth. It’s only the truthful and faithful ones to God on earth, that shall be tested before obtaining God’s certificate of approval. May we never fail our tests in our due seasons, in Jesus name. Do you know that Judas Iscariot was not approved! He failed his test woefully. Peter who was prone to correction, passed his test without regret and victoriously. This race of faith is a tough challenge. We should discard every distraction and be asking for that GREAT GRACE to endure our seasons no matter the situations. The Father of mercies has already promised us “ALL COMFORT” so that we would not disobey or disappoint Him by not meeting the target. If you are comforted before your season, it is evidence that someone had already suffered ahead on your behalf. That is the mission of the Lord on earth. He came to bear our burden. Peradventure, you are experiencing your season without comfort right now, endure it, don’t quit. It is for your approval of test. Also it is in order for you to be able to comfort them which are in their season of trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. You cannot buy the experience. It is what you have that you can give, not what you don’t have; experience is the best teacher. To be comforted therefore we: (1) Must keep ourselves pure. (2) Follow our perfect master’s commandments, by following all His directions. (3) Be kept free of any form of lies or greed. (4) Must be blameless. (5) Be correctable. (6) Pray without ceasing. (7)Be possessors of the Holy Spirit. (8) Be Bible students. (9) Forgive one another. (10) Be ready to restitute. (11) Be watchful for His return. “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes” (Rev.7:13-17). I decree and declare this day that none of us, nor our families and generation shall miss out on that day. Tears shall be wiped away from our eyes. We shall serve God day and night in His temple. There will be no hunger neither thirst anymore for the Lamb shall be the source of our feeding . No sun light or heat on us anymore. And we shall all be comforted of God, in Jesus name. God bless you!
