Blessed be, I just got back from a very successful revival tour in Austin Texas. I must confess that town is full of sin and shame, but with a little laying of the hands and a good word, they are much better this fine Monday afternoon. I was sorry my sister, Lady Christian, couldn’t make the tour. It seems that Aunt Mary came to visit early and you know that time of the month is hard on an old girl. She is resting peaceful at home and baby boy is seeing to her every need. We’ll need to pray that his patience holds out until sister is back on her feet. Auntie Lips has a whole gaggle of new nieces and nephews and I’m proud to say they are a fine bunch of kids (even if a couple of the girls wear their dresses to short, but one cross at a time I always say!), I’m so proud of Anastasia who stepped down and had a wonderful coronation. The Austin community should be very proud of everything she did this past year. I’m also very excited and proud of both Pannica Tack and Hardeaux Tack who are the newest monarchs on the circuit. I’ll be guiding their spiritual growth and carrying a tape measure to make sure Pannica’s dresses at least wave hello to her knees. It was good to see my boy Sky at Oil Can Harrys. He’s assured me he is continuing on with his mission work and I know he’ll make his Auntie proud (plus if you’re ever in Austin he pours a mean drink, so go say hello to him and be sure to tip him as he needs the tuition money!). Eric and Even are two of my newest nephews who are exotic dancers in the vein of the Martha Graham School of Modern Dance. They looked so cute in their eye patch costumes and you know Auntie will find them some T-back dance gear in case they take their act on the road. I must say they both have such lovely manners and I’m tickled that the old school knowledge isn’t lost on these young men of today. Jackie Best and Jim Wilson were both looking very good and still had most of their body parts still intact. They both are so rich in gay and court history and it’s a pleasure to always see them. Jackie was on the microphone for the victory show and Jim did his magic when he auctioned off a lovely brooch for the travel fund for the new monarchs. It was good to see everyone at Bout Time 2! Those boys really know how to treat the showgirls and I must say the bartenders just get better looking all the time (not to mention younger). Well, Auntie Lips is home now and is washing off the sin and shame from her travels as well getting rid of all the DNA evidence on her dresses. Everyone have a fabulous Monday and I’ll see you out and about. Big Hugs ‘N’ Kisses
