Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord! O Father, Almighty God, truer words were never spoken than these penned thousands of years ago by Your prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah knew, as do I that trusting You brings a blessing, not a temporary blessing either, but an abiding blessing that rests upon all of those who trust and believe in You. Lord my life has been blessed by Your hand and I delight in doing Your will and in serving You, for You O Lord are everything and I am nothing; and yet You regard me and You hear my cries. Thank You Father for Your great love for all of us today as we gather here to pray for Jax. Heal him O God and he shall be well, save him and he shall be saved, soothe him and he will be comforted, touch him and he will be uplifted, for You are his Champion and You are his Healer. O Lord, my God I trust in You with all of my heart, my mind, my soul and my strength, like Your word instructs I have tasted and know that the Lord is good and I know that You have plans for Jaxies life and that those plans are to prosper him! It is true that a grave harm has come into his young life, but it is also true that You can use even this to give him hope and a future. Let it be a future Lord that is filled with You, let it be a wonderful testimony of Your power and grace, and use it to mold Jax into a young man whose trust is in You and who has Your blessing resting upon him all of his days. Surround him with people who love You, know You and serve You so that they can administer Your hope and wisdom to him. Let him feel Your wonderful and compassionate love run over his sweet head like the anointing oil, the oil of gladness, and teach him to trust in You. I ask also that You will use this tragedy to touch the lives of everyone who knows Jax, who has heard through this forum what has happened to him, and who has contact with him now and in the future. Let everyone see how the Almighty God can use tragedy and turn it into a blessing. Into Your hands Christ our healer we place Jax today knowing and trusting You to work Your marvelous will out in his life. It is in Your Name Lord Jesus that we ask...believing. Amen
