Blessed to have participated in my schools discussion and candlelight vigil in honor of Mike Brown and all the other Black victims of this senseless police brutality that seems to have become so pervasive in our nation. Like I keep saying, diversity is something that God created so that we might appreciate its beauty, not distort as an artificial means of social stratification. Praying for the families of all the Mike Browns and Trayvon Martins and Eric Garners. Some days I can only beg for Jesus to come and save us from ourselves and this violent, carnal world that we live in. But for every day that we are still alive, I realize that we have another opportunity to take the road less traveled & stand up for the equality and justice that our country claims to herald and exhibit. For anybody who wanted it, here is the song I sang at the vigil. God help us all.
