Blessed with Peace January 7, 2015 If you are a person who wants peace in your life, start by first being a person of peace. Start by being a person who unites others. Start by being a person who is compassionate for others. Start by being that person who hears the concerns of others. We have major issues in life when we encounter those who have never been influenced by peacemakers. A compassionate heart, a listening ear, and a kind word go along way to soothe even the most violent of men. Before one can pray and believe, they must feel that the one they are praying to is compassionate, just, kind, and caring. These are the attributes of the peacemaker. Promote peace in your home, in your workplace, in the midst of friends, and in the presence of your enemies. Jesus is our best example. How great it would be if we chose to be like him. Amen. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9
