Blessings to all on The Virgo New Moon - The New Moon is a time - TopicsExpress

Blessings to all on The Virgo New Moon - The New Moon is a time of New Beginnings, a time to set intentions for the 28-day Lunar Cycle that commences. It is an inward time of seed-planting and concentrated focus into what we want to see manifest. This New Moon also helps to unveil a fresh new energy opening to us in deep space, where the stars glitter and shine. In September/November 2011 the fixed star Regulus shifted - for our purposes on earth - from the sign of Leo to the sign of Virgo. (the fixed stars dont move, but they appear to here on earth, due to our interaction with the solar system, constellations and galaxy) REGULUS THE SHINING HEART Regulus known as The Heart of the Lion, is a fixed star which has been found in the constellation of Leo for over 2,000 years. There are four royal’ stars associated with the 4 Gospels: (1) Aldebaran (heart of the Bull in Taurus), (2) Antares (heart of the Scorpion), (3) Fomalhaut (in Aquarius), (4) Regulus (in Leo), THE DATE OF REGULUS INTO VIRGO The fixed stars, such as Regulus, shift (from our perspective on earth) very slowly - at a rate of just 1 degree for every 72 years. This is a 2,100-year cycle. To get a sense of this cycle, take note that Regulus entered Leo back on October 25, 157 BCE. The most recent sign changes (of fixed stars) happened in 2000 (Alcyone of the Taurus constellation, into tropical Gemini) and 1970 (Mirach of the Andromeda constellation, into tropical Taurus). Before that the only fixed star to change signs was in 1875 (Altair of the Aquila constellation, into tropical Aquarius). So this really is a rare event. The ending of Regulus in Leo took place starting in August 27, 1940 when Regulus was at 29 degrees of Leo - the final and most potent degree, holding much of the ferocity of the entire 2,100-year cycle. To dovetail on that, when we look into the night sky right this moment and see Regulus, we perceiving light that was sent streaming toward us in the 1930s. The correlation of these dates between World War 2, and the dropping of the atomic bomb is obvious. All of these events stem from the wars of Empires, which is the essence of what needs to end as Regulus leaves Leo and enters the humble sign of Virgo. Regulus will be at zero degrees Virgo until 2083, ie for another 70 years. Regulus into Virgo opens us up to a new definition and embodiment of LEO. Because Jupiter is in Leo right now (and up through August of 2015) it really is an opportune time to consider the meaning of the old Leo and the new Leo at the cusp of the Turning of the Ages. Jupiter in Leo is expanding our consciousness of this light-drenched sign of creativity and self-expression, leadership and self-esteem. Here is the eternal meaning of Leo - not old or new, but simply heart-centered leadership, radiant self-esteem that shines outward to others, inspiring them to shine their own light and creating a flow of energy between leader and people. SERVICE- Virgos keyword. All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king. - J.R.R. Tolkein, The Lord of the Rings The glittering gold of Leo, is now giving way to the deep roots of Virgoan earth, not to be reached by the frost. Now, the crownless shall again be king - A new righteous and justice-loving king, who embraces the queen as his rightful equal. In balance they rule the inner landscape and outer stewardship of the new 26,000 year cycle which begins now with the dawning of revolution-seeking Aquarius. The King is dead! Long live the King and Queen! ~hag
