Blind Man Survives Being Run Over By Train ift.tt/1jZlMgw A blind man has escaped uninjured after falling onto the tracks at a subway station in Los Angeles and being run over by a train. Metro spokesman Paul Gonzales told the Los Angeles Times: It really is a miracle. Its something you only see on TV. The man, 47, fell from the platform on Thursday as he was approaching the edge of the platform using a cane. The driver of the Los Angeles Metro Red Line train hit the brakes when the man fell but the train did not stop until a car had passed over the man. Mr Gonzales says the man lay flat as the train passed over him and survived as a result. A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department says the man, who has not been identified, had no obvious injuries.
