Blog MQ5 trip19Manta Queen 5 is leaving for another 3 day / 3 night trip, again with many Nationalities and all different kinds of experienced divers on board. We even have 3 students finishing their Open Water course. After a pretty bumpy ride at night we arrive at Koh Bon where we will be doing our first two dives of the trip. The visibility is great and everybody is enjoying the current taking them along the reef. We see the resident Napoleon Wrasse, lots of schools, a sea snake and the Maldives sponge snail and much more. Our third dive of the day we do on Koh Tachai and we have the best conditions ever, amazing visibility, no current and no other divers. On top of that it feels as if we are in a theater and the fish are the actors in a great play, so much going on!!! Our last dive and the first dive the next day are also on Koh Tachai and we get to enjoy this dive site some more. Richelieu Rock is at its very best, schools of batfish, fusiliers, snappers and trevallies all joining each other, quite a few cuttlefish mating, a seahorse, ghost pipefish and much much more. And all that in about 30 meters visibility. All our divers were super happy. The last day brought us again amazing visibility on Koh Bon and Hin Luang, the beautiful ‘yellow rock’. Of course ‘Stewey’, our resident stonefish was there to greet us and many scorpionfish and moray eels, again an amazing dive! The last dive of our trip is the great Boonsung Wreck where we saw a baby spearing mantis shrimp, catfish, two big cobia’s, stingrays and many, many schools. Congratulations to Alexis, Taylor and Olivia who are now Open Water divers. Olivia did double duty and finished her Advanced course as well and Philipp and Gustav are now Nitrox divers. Well done everybody!#padi#padicourse#padiadvancedcourse#liveaboard#liveaboardthailand#safari#whaleshark#mantaray#padigopro#idc#dmt#divemaster#diveinstructor#mantaqueen#shark#sharks#divingkhaolak#similan#kohbon#kohtachai#richelieurock#boonsung#scuba#scubadiving#tauchen#dyken#thailandliveaboard
