Blogpost: From Guilt to Grace My recent reading has led me to understand more about the corrupt human nature of mankind. Which mankind brings on himself; Has anyone noticed that many if not most people only call out to God or for any divine intervention when it will give them an advantage? The god that many if not most people seek is a god of their own image. Why do people do this? This reality is explained by God’s word himself in regards to mankind and his character. Mankind is naturally bent to sin. Even when given the opportunity to repent and turn to a more sure truth in revelation mankind still chooses to go his own way. Mankind would rather blame Adam for sinning rather than seeking after their own Adamic nature. If man were naturally good then he would own to his own folly rather than hide it. Since mankind is naturally blind to the things of God, he will naturally blame his own environment, culture, upbringing and or outside influences for his own sinful habits. Whether a man be born in a religious family that blames the Devil or a man be born a pagan and blame his surroundings, the same means of neglect of his own heart’s condition will be subject to the judgment that is pronounced over all sinners from God. What am I saying? Until you come to reality that you cannot save yourself from your own sins, whether you religiously follow a set of rules or consider yourself your own master and make your own rules… You will live under the judgment of God forever. What’s the solution?: Acknowledge your sin in full. See what God has said about you(all of us) from His own word. In order to grow from here you will Need not just the Bible but a community within the Bible framework called the church. There are real people who have come under the same understanding you have with greater depth and understanding for your benefit.
