Blood Donation camp set up at Meezan Bank’s Head Office Meezan Bank, in collaboration with The Indus Hospital, set up a full day Blood Donation Camp at Meezan House on Tuesday 6th May 2014. Meezan Bank has always supported the Indus Hospital in its noble cause. Now it has broadened the range of its support to Indus Hospital by joining hands with them by setting up a full day blood donation center at its head office as part of its CSR Activities. Meezan Bank’s staff whole-heartedly participated in donating blood at the camp and made this noble effort successful. The Indus Hospital is a not-for-profit entity providing top-of-the-line, comprehensive and free of cost healthcare to people. It provides premium health-care in an impressive, state-of-the art health center completely free to everyone. The Indus Hospital has recently launched the first Centralized Blood Center of Pakistan. In Pakistan arranging blood “in-time” is the responsibility of the patient’s family “alone”. The Indus Hospital has taken the initiative to solve the issue of timely availability of blood in hospitals. The Indus Hospital Blood Center is now shouldering the responsibility of maintaining blood inventories in hospitals – assuring availability “in-time”. Blood is collected through voluntary blood donations. Collected blood bags are processed at the Indus Hospital Blood Center and blood products are supplied to the hospitals.
