Blood, Sweat, Tears, Bug Spray & Mostly Laughter All marked our second game of the 2014 Hospitality Softball League (our first game we won by forfeit). We took the field against the Sheraton suited up in our fancy new unis purchased specifically to make us look like we know what we’re doing. Christian Bam-Bam Olson quickly earned MVP by taking the field for Jen Honey Bober who was delayed in a pre-game port-o-potty exploit. We’re happy to report Harold Soccer Mom Fleming’s knee seems to be functional with no apparent limping during his visits to first base. Other adventures include Jess The Animal Moquin’s near decapitation on the pitching mound, Matt The Blister Ray and Molly Mooch Mulcahy’s most excellent pickle game, Chelsea Mudcat Clark’s magnetic left field foul ball issues, Nicole Six-Pack Voth’s epic batting advice/recruiting efforts and Woody The Flamingo Roxon remembering where he was for virtually the entire game. Ultimately we triumphed (thanks mostly to our new outfits) but as Katelynn Thumper Audette reminds us: if you’ve had fun, you’ve won!
