Blood and blood products are critical to treatment for many people and conditions. Our federal policies must be based on science and not outdated and discriminatory policies. I am proud to join U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Tammy Baldwin, Congressman Mike Quigley and more than 70 other Members of Congress in calling on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to replace its outdated and discriminatory lifetime ban on blood donations from members of the MSM community.
