Blood drips from his arm, a blade pierced his right shoulder. Forsaken by the people who he thought once loved him. Struggling each step, wandering the forest and trying to find a friendly face to save him. Growls deep within the forest, hastily darting after their prey. Their roar’s draw closer. Lightning brightens up the forest for a split second he sees twisted dog like monsters pursuing him. Another lightning strike hit’s a nearby tree. The explosion caused by it throws splinters into his back, knocking the teen to the ground. Flames from the destroyed tree light the area. Their roar’s draw closer. Yellow eyes gaze at him from within the darkness. The warmth from the flames keeps the aberrations at bay. Their low tone growls make his hand shake violently. His body trembles, as fear sets in. Thick smoke hide the moon and stars. Several more pairs yellow eyes appear, gazing at their meal. Rain begins to fall, pouring heavily, as if mother nature herself wishes to erase something from her soil. Water smothers the flames, its’ illuminating warmth vanishes and is replaced by the frigid grasp of death. The creatures lunge at him, hungrily.
