Bloody bruised and scarred I fell to the ground wincing in pain as the dust licked my wounds. This war has gone on so long and Im tired. I feel at times im destined to be another casualty in this war for the souls of man. Surrounded on all sides, i hear them laughing and see thier taunting faces as i see them slay the souls of those around me. Even now i can feel the fire slowly being extinguished in my own heart. I reach within the depths of my soul and cry out for re-enforcements as the dark one draws his sword to end my battle once and for all. In the short distance a mighty trumpet is blown taking my attacker off guard. From the top of the hill a rider on a white horse can be seen and behind him marching in unison is a militia of armed beings the likes of which ive never seen. The horn is blown again and the orders are given. There was the sound as of a mighty rushing wind as the rider and his army descended. The enemy begin to run and retreat in fear of the one on the horse. The horse rider commissioned a guard of the militia men to stand watch over me. Immediately i was surrounded by a hedge of light soldiers. Before i knew it this battle was won. The rider on the horse stood before me and gave me a hand up but when i looked upon him i fell to the ground unable to look upon his face. He reached out and touched me healing my wounds but the scars of battle remained as a reminder. With my face in the ground i asked to be released from duty that i may join him on the homefront. He picked me up and dusted me off and said "You have done well my good and faithful servant but now is not the time. It is my will for you to stay and continue to fight. You were brought to the kingdom for such a time as this. There is still a purpose that i have for you in this war. A time may come when this war may claim your life but know on that day i will be there as you take your last breath and i will bring you home. Till then my son fight the good fight of faith and fullfill your Fathers will on the earth. With that he is gone and here i stand moving forward under his command and fighting the good fight till my time here is done!
