Bloomberg Law - Dockets Data Analyst Job (Skillman, NJ, USA): Job Requisition Number:39130 Description: Bloomberg L.P., a leading worldwide provider of electronic information, is looking for qualified people to join the legal content operations group of the Global Data division. The Dockets Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of Bloombergs Federal and State Dockets product. Primary duties will include the monitoring and troubleshooting of current means of collection in order to ensure timeliness and comprehensiveness of the dockets product. Other duties will include researching sources for dockets data collection, creation of implementation specifications for targeted courts, and liaising with court personnel. The position will require an understanding of the applications and processes related to assigned data sets across a variety of product areas for the BLAW team, and the ability to assist in creating and implementing quality management procedures. Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, JD preferred; - Familiarity with Federal and State court structures; - Prior experience working with electronic court records and document filing systems a plus; - Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal; and - Prior experience in a data analysis related position is a plus.
