He was being held Wednesday at the Grant County Jail without bond. 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of South Alabama Court, Thomas Coppock, 56, last known address 602 Alabama Court, arrested on warrant, battery resulting in bodily injury. He was released Tuesday from the Grant County Jail for medical reasons. 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, Wal-Mart, 3240 S. Western Ave., two 14-year-old girls and one 13-year-old boy arrested, theft. 2:57 p.m. Tuesday, 4200 block of South Washington Street, harassment. A woman reported her ex-husband sent her messages on Facebook, violating a protective order. 4:14 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of East 38th Street, theft of keys, stereo and clothes from residence. A man suspects her ex-husband. 5:52 p.m. Tuesday, Marion Police Department, 301 S. Branson St., battery report. A man reported he was jumped by known suspects. He waited 18 hours to report the incident, and there weren’t any signs of injury. Report was suspended. Grant County Sheriff’s Department 2:38 a.m. July 6, Speedway, 4500 S. Adams St., suspicious persons. 3:27 p.m. Monday, 3200 block of South Grant County Road 500 West, fraud. A woman reported receiving an email from the FBI stating she had boxes of currency that didn’t clear from customs and that she needed to send information in lieu of being prosecuted.
