Blow away, humbled beyond measure, to have gotten the donation - TopicsExpress

Blow away, humbled beyond measure, to have gotten the donation that puts me over the $4,000 mark from Stacey Gravina - someone who I have ridden for every single mile since this journey began. The late nights working on Ozarks travel, the early morning rides, the panhandling in the freezing cold cannot compare to the challenges her family faced when we lost our little hero, Jake. This experience has been the best way I can think of to honor his fighting spirit, as well as the strength it takes from caregivers to continue fighting in the wake of loss. I try to live with the hope and kindness he shared with everyone around him. I am so lucky and truly honored I get to share his story over 4,500 miles. For the next 68 days, then the 70 days of the ride that follow, THEN the rest of my life - Ill be pushing back against this disease with everything that I have, snazzy pistols held high. Knowledge to me is a future where incurable is an outdated concept. Research helps get us closer and closer to that day. Childhood cancer is the most unfair thing I can think of in this world. Please - help the fight against cancer by helping those who can do something about it.
