Blowing my own horn here. I said from the beginning that one of my many dislikes with Obama was the amount of hubris which emanated from him during his campaign. Luckily, someone advised him to turn it down after his election but now, it is on display for everyone to see. Refusal to negotiate and his insistance on trying to hang his hat on this healthcare bill as his only accomplishment during his presidency (except for strangling bin Landen to death with his own hands) is just arrogance. Right or wrong, if the negotiating table is open, sit the hell down and talk to someone!!
