Blue Devil athletes will take the court and field for the annual Blue/White Scrimmage on Thursday, August 28. Volleyball scrimmage will begin at 5:00 in the gymnasium. Football scrimmage will follow at 6:30 at Prather Field. Admission to this year’s scrimmages will be items for the Elementary Snack Pack program. The Kansas Food Bank offers a program to assist hungry children in our community. Snack Packs are sent home with selected children over the weekend to help provide small meals that the child might receive if they were at school. The program does not start until October. With the help of the Epiphany Episcopal Church and local patrons and businesses, the program has been supplemented through the entire year. We are asking for donations for this program which include items such as: 8 oz milk boxes found on the non-dairy shelves, juice boxes, Chef Boradee individual serving size with pull off tab, Vienna Sausage individual serving size with pull off tab, Fruit or applesauce individual cups, Pudding individual pre-made cups, Cereal pouches or boxes (individual size), Peanut Butter crackers (six or eight to a package), Breakfast bars, Fruit snacks/gummies.
