Blue Mountains LAC - NSW Police Force update We are receiving a number of inquiries about looters in the fire affected areas in both the upper and lower mountains. At this stage we have no confirmed looting activity in the area. Please however be vigilant to such activity around your property and look out for your neighbours properties as well. If you see what appears to you to be suspicious activity, then report it immediately to Springwood or Katoomba police stations, or via Triple Zero. Social media is not the place to report it - it only serves to spread rumour and fear, and we simply cannot act on it in the timely manner that a phonecall to the station would allow us.
