Blue Mountains Police are currently investigating an assault which occurred upon a westbound train, between Springwood Railway Station and Hazelbrook Railway Station that occurred at about 3:35pm on Tuesday the 8th September 2014. This assault involved a 15year old Faulconbridge male to be armed with a knife and he threatened a train passenger with it. As a result, police have arrested and charged this young person with a number of offences and he will appear at Katoomba Children’s Court on the 1/12/14. Police investigations are continuing.
