Blue lights shine on our front porch in memory of fallen law enforcement officers. It has been a tragic week in our state as three police officers were killed in the line of duty. Today, Ryan Shelley, of Fisher Funeral Chapel, attended the funeral service for Indianapolis Metro Police Officer Perry Renn, who was shot on Indy’s Eastside Saturday evening. The WLFI video below features very touching highlights of the service as well as Ryans first-hand account of the tribute. Last week, Tipton County Deputy Sheriff Jacob Calvin died in a car crash. Gary Metropolitan Police Officer Jeffrey Westerfield was found shot to death in his squad car early Sunday morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these heroes as well as their fellow officers who put their lives on the line every day for our safety.
