Blue states are fuming about Texas Gov. Rick Perry poaching their businesses. But there’s no denying that the Texas way works…Our current national leaders are mostly Ivy League academics with no practical business experience. This week, first quarter GDP growth was revised downward, from a sluggish 2.4 percent to a pitiful 1.8 percent. In Texas, whose pro-business, low-tax policies are the opposite of the blue states’ and Obama’s, economic growth from 2009 to 2011 was a staggering 13 percent. Last year, the Texas economy grew 71 percent faster than the national economy. And Texas has the same percentage of illegal immigrants to deal with as California. In terms of resources, California is still the Golden State. But if you put the wrong people in charge long enough, they can even screw up paradise.
