BluesPlus Productions RHYTHM GUMBO & BLUE SHADOWS (Lineup 09-06-2014) Tonight’s broadcast is locked. As usual, I think it’s going to be a good show (shows?). I hope anyone who gets a chance to listen will agree. Last week’s post got more than 500 hits, far exceeding the previous high number. I’m anticipating a drop-off this week, since not as many artists from my FaceBook friends list are in the lineup this week. I am only forwarding this post to my personal page and to the pages of artists whose music is in the lineup. I am trying to be careful not to skew the playlists toward my friends as a way to increase my presence on FaceBook. My longstanding view has been that I will listen to a friend’s music, but I include it on the show because it belongs. Neither Gumbo nor Shadows is meant to be limited to a regional scope; and definitely is not limited to “John’s FaceBook”. For this page to be successful in the long run, it will have to generate interest on its own. Much appreciation to anyone who is sharing this to their own pages, and to everyone who has an interest.
