Bob Bancroft, biologist, and influential in promoting wise forestry in Nova Scotia, was denied honors for his work because he dared criticize Nova Scotias current slash and burn policies and grossly unsustainable practices designed around feeding industrial greed. Nova Scotias forests are being killed fast to feed so-called biofuel projects and Pictous vile pulp mill. Personally, Bob, I would turn down an honor offered me by the province because NS government is so corrupt it would be suspicious to even receive one. I wouldnt want to be perceived as one of them.
