Bob Dylans one of those classic artists that I could just never get into. Not that I dislike him or anything, I just dont put on an album of his and just get lost in it like I do with some of favorite artists. But Dylan covers...thats another story entirely. Its like they take the seed of the song and grow it into something I like. Case in point, my old friends Richard Hell and the Voidoids. Speed up the tempo a bit, give it some crunch and let Mr. Hell cut loose. It hits hard, while at the same time feeling intimate. So, while I gotta give up the props to Dylan for creating it, this is my favorite version of the song.
