Bob and I have bad news to share: he has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Lung, Stage 4. He was diagnosed at M.D. Anderson in Houston, but they referred him back to a local oncologist for chemotherapy. Next Tuesday, he will have a portal installed, and soon afterward the chemo will begin. He realizes that this lung cancer cannot be cured, but we are hopeful that the chemo will give him a better quality of life. (Right now, he is in no pain, but is as weak as a kitten!)
