Bobby Jindal is calling for rebellion through a Convention of the States. Let’s see if others will jump on board… Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La., has been mentioned frequently as a possible candidate for the 2016 presidential race. In what figures to be a crowded field, Gov. Jindal may just have put himself a leg up with constitutional conservatives with his bold stand for the Convention of States Project, and against the overreach of President Barack Obama. According to the project’s website, Gov. Jindal endorsed the organization, saying, “The federal government has clearly grown far beyond the size and scope that the Founders ever envisioned. Over-spending, excessive regulatory overreach, and disdain for individual liberty all run rampant in Washington D.C.”
