Bobs Blog #80 A well read Wild West Bob-dog turns into a token male. Well, the last two evenings Ive been out and about. We went to the library. The library is a super quiet place where there are lots of books. I enjoyed exploring and was able to approve of the book choices prior to check out. The best thing though was meeting a lady who was using a cane. Ive seen canes before but there was just something about this one that caught my attention. It was a beautiful blue flowered cane. I sniffed that cane up and down but it just smelled like metal to me which actually just made it more attractive since I am particularly fond of metal. PM said it belonged to the lady and wasnt a toy for me so we had to move on. We moved right on to dinner at Roy Rogers. Roy Rogers made the library smells seem rather unappealing by comparison. I find its hard for paper and metal to compare favorably to meat. I was feeling like some chicken or a burger might hit the spot but PM never even asked me for my order. What did I get? Same old, same old - dog food once we got home. You shouldnt feel bad for me though since I enjoy my Wolf Cub chow immensely. Tonight I went to get a drink with the ladies which turned out to be a situation of false advertising. I distinctly remember her saying time to get dressed, were going to get a drink with friends. Ill concede that PM sat at the bar with some friends and they did appear to have drinks up there. Hard to tell from my vantage point which was on the floor. What I know is that no drink ever found its way to me. Luckily there is always water in the bowl at home. By the way, we have lots of drink options at home, why couldnt we just stay there? I do like to end my day with a good cuddle and Mannix is the best cuddlier. I generally find where he is resting and then go over and pretty much lie down on top of him so when I slide down to the floor Im assured of being as close as possible. PM says Im lucky to have such a sweet and tolerant friend in Mannix. I say, Im practicing variable cuddling approaches since Im sure my warrior will want me as close as possible. Who wouldnt?
