Boeing delivers more DESPITE grounding its B787 Dreamliner fleet for four months, aircraft manufacturer Boeing managed to post a year-on-year increase in new aircraft deliveries to buyers in the first six months of 2013. A total of 306 jets were handed over to buyers during the first half of the year, compared to 287 in the same period in 2012 - an improvement of 6.6%. Boeing said the majority of deliveries were for the alwayspopular B737 family of aircraft, with 218 units delivered, 10 more than the same time last year.
