Boko Haram came hard again on Baga on wednesday burning and looting houses.One of the fleeing persons said he saw many corpses on the streets adding that some of the bodies were decomposing as there was no one to bury them. A federal lawmaker Maina Maji Lawal told the BBC that BH controlled 70 percent of Borno state which is worst affected by the insurgency.The BBC stated that corpses littered Bagas streets amid fears that some 2000 people had been killed in the raids. Government troops abandoned the military base in Baga on saturday when the militants launched assault against it but the Federal Government has assured that security forces will recapture he town and other surrounding villages.
