Bollywood stars to perform in Valley for cause of orphans Bismah Malik Tribune News Service Srinagar, August 8 Bollywood stars Sunil Shetty and Sohail Khan will perform in the Valley on Sunday for a charity-cum-physiotherapy workshop event “Aashh”- 2014, Ek Kiran , an expectation of new Kashmir aimed at rehabilitating over 60 orphaned children from Baramulla district. The event will be held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre on the banks of the Dal lake. Srinagar-born Dr Aijaz Ashai, who is also the personal physio-trainer of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and many popular cricketers is the man behind the idea of organising this event, which besides providing advanced physiotherapy training to Valley doctors, will also include a cultural event showcasing performances by Bollywood’s top actors. Dr Ashai said Salman Khan and his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan had been supporting many needy and deserving children and women through their “Being Human” initiative. “The Khan brothers are widely known and respected as good Samaritans. I spoke to them regarding the poor conditions in which children and women of Kashmir live, especially those affected by violence over the last 20 years. They have expressed willingness to help in all possible ways,” Dr Ashai said. “Both Sunil Shetty and Sohail Khan will perform for the cause of rehabilitating these needy children. Cricketer Pervez Rasool and local artist Qazi Tawqeer will also be a part of the event,” he said, adding a local social group, “Human Aid”, will set up two rehabilitation centres in Baramulla and Srinagar for orphan children
