Bolton Wanderers Matchday Preview – Ipswich Town vs Bolton Wanderers Bolton will find today’s task an uphill one, having lost six out of their last seven matches on the road. Playoff-chasing Ipswich will be looking to step up their bid for promotion with a win at Portman Road. Deadline-day signings Liam Trotter and Yannick Bastos are in contention to play against the Tractor Boys and recent loan signing Lukas Jutkiewicz is likely to start, following Craig Davies’ baffling loan move to Preston North End, although Jermaine Beckford is possibly fit after his hamstring injury. Tim Ream is available to play at left-back though, after braking his nose in the midweek loss to QPR. Stephen Hunt and Frazer Richardson may be brought into the side, after missing out in midweek. These sides drew 1-1 in October at the Reebok Stadium, but Bolton haven’t beaten Ipswich in their last three matches against them, losing the other two. Both Ipswich and Bolton have only won once since Boxing Day. Ipswich have the worst record in the division after scoring first, but the best in the division after conceding first.
