Bom dia, Portugal! Yesterday, I met a friend who I cherish the most...and we talked about how Portuguese are ..and he told me that Portugal people in general content who they are with..like family and circle of friends in closer relationship, so they less feel to go out to get someone more..or something more in life. So surprisely, that was and that is what I have got, sometimes..their grounded mentality (healthy one) makes me jeolous of them.. Because all my life, I felt lack of many things..and searched for many years almost like 25 years so far. Now, I am in safe hands..and grounded more...by seeing how people live here. Poverty is somehow around a bit more than Korea since here economy crisis is new to the country.. Aside from this, Portuguese are emotionally very amazingly balanced one. They present negativity in life situations less than any people anywhere.. They are happy and genuine people, overall. I love to be with them, it makes me brighten up...with smiles... Making me real..real...with many things.. 포르투갈에 있는 나의 친구를 만났다. 그 친구와 포르투갈 문화와 사람에 대한 얘기를 했는데, 역시나 책도 많이읽고, 공부하는 친구라 그런지, 분석력이 나름 뛰어나다. 포르투갈 사람들은 친구들과, 가족에 둘러싸여 있다, 그리고..토요일 일요일이 되면, 가족이나, 지인들과 식사하는 것이 일상처럼 보인다. 그래서 일까, 이들은 이 이외의 관계에 그다지 관심이 덜하다, 친구의 말을 빌리자면, 이미 다 가지고 있어서, 소중한것을 그리고, 감성으로 이미 보장받고 있어서, 그렇게 외부에 대한 욕구가 적다고 한다. 아! 내가 요사이 관찰한 바로는 이말이 딱이다. 나도 그렇게 느껴서, 한참을 부러움의 눈으로봤기 때문이다. 밖으로 뻗치지 않은 관심, 자신에 충실한, 자신의 감정에 충실한..만족을 자족을 하며, 살림이 넉넉안한 거도, 크게 문제가 되지 않는..이게 바로 내가 한국에..포르투갈의 라이프스타일을 알려주고 싶었던 바로 그거다. 나는 25년 동안, 내가 없다고 느낀..감정의 공허를 찾아, 공부하고 일하고, 여행하고 했다고 인정한다. 이제, 나는 그것을 내려놓고, 아주 평범한 범인이 되는 순간에... 그 순간을 포르투갈이 내게 지금 해주고 있다, 힐링을 받고 있는 나, 평범이, 가장 따스한 일상이...우리가 찾던 그 진짜..라는것을 느끼며, 웃으며............우훗, 내가 찾았다. 내가 자랑스럽고, 감사하다.. 포르투갈도 감사하다.. 작은것에..감사하게 하는 나를 찾아줘서..^^.. 나와 함께 인것을 허락해줘서.. I love Portugal! I mean it.
