Bombay Vada Pav Corner (Plot No. 32, 1st Main Road, Seshadripuram) - Paul Peudhomme once said, ‘You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food’. This is the quote which comes to my mind whenever we savor the amazing street food in our country. The best Dabeli and Vada Pav in Bangalore are definitely at Sagar in Rajajinagar. But Bombay Vada Pav Corner is definitely in the reckoning for being the second best. An eatery that would be classified as a street food one, Bombay Vada Pav Corner is certainly one of those absolutely no frills place. Place your order, have a quick bite right there or have it packed and move on. With no seating this place is small shop right to the famous Laxmi Juice Centre (do try their milkshakes). Your order is ready in couple of minutes even if there are quite a few people waiting for their Dabelis. The Dabelis served at this place are to die for! That sweet taste and the slight burst of flavors will make you want to come back for more. For those who don’t like it all sweet, there is the roasted green chili which will help you cure the sweetness. Other than the Dabeli this place serves Vada Pav, Samosa Pav and Pav Baji. The Vada Pav and the Samosa Pav are just about good. The Pav Baji did not look that appealing, hence you might want to give it a miss. Getting here: The nearest landmarks would be Seshaipuram Composite College and Seshadripuram Law College. This eatery located towards the Swastik Cricle side. Here’s the map link to Lakshmi Juice Centre (https://maps.google/maps?cid=10133674649776313513&q=Lakshmi+Juice+Centre,+1st+Main&output=classic&dg=ntvb ), it is right next to it. Timings: 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Sundays they are open from 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Pav Baji is available only after 5 PM. Pricing: Be it a Dabeli, Vada Pav or Samosa Pav, all of them are priced at 20 bucks a portion. The Pav Bhaji is priced at 40 bucks a portion. Parking: Since this place is located on the busy Sheshadripuram Main Road, 4 Wheelers will have to park their car somewhere inside Kumara Park, if you are here before 9:30 PM. Two wheelers it shouldnt be a problem.
