… Bone Marrow Transplant Fund Raising & Medical Expenses … A 9-years old leukemia patient (KUM Kah Seng) is in URGENT need of RM500,000 for chemotherapy & bone marrow transplant. Currently, Kah Seng is in the ICU of Subang Jaya Medical Centre after chemotherapy. He just had a surgery to remove some tumor specimen for further diagnosis. He will be going through another operation on his back to clear the mold infection. Kah Seng is experiencing difficulty in breathing & due to lack of mobility; his legs have become weak & languished. He now needs physiotherapy treatment too. Owing to depressed financial conditions, the father (Mr KUM Yew Wong) who is the President of The Martial Art Association, pleads to the public to help his son to survive. He is appealing to raise this huge amount for his son’s bone marrow transplant & medical expenses. This case has been highlighted by our OTMA member (Mr Stanley Chew) who is an ex-classmate of Mr KUM Yew Wong. Trusting that everyone will take this matter seriously, OTMA Charity Division is organizing a fundraising to help Kah Seng.
