Bonne nuit, Sur la Plage. Twenty years is a long time to do...anything. I have performed under the band name / brand name On the Beach for very close to 20 years. For a long time now, the name has been nothing more than a device, or tool, that I use to sell my act....so, in the spirit of the art, and because I think my booking agent is getting soft, its time to get rid of the crutch. Crazy fall travels will finance December studio time, and 2015 will be a year dedicated to performing new original music - and all signs point to more time on the road...than....ever. There is nothing better than being on the road with good people playing music that no one has ever heard before. Ill be phasing out the use of the name On the Beach by the end of the year (....except for occasions when the family might play together, then it would still be OTB.)
