Book 1 When Chief Scientific Advisor Professor Ralph Frederick is summoned to the Prime Minister’s office his world is turned upside down by an unusual request from the wartime leader. Frederick is tasked with establishing a highly classified research group whose key function is to gather intelligence on flying saucers. From the corridors of power in Whitehall, to the Welsh Valleys and finally a Top Secret research facility located in the Nevada desert Frederick’s faith and scientific knowledge are pushed to their limits. In their quest to discover the truth Frederick and his team discover that not all allies are friends, and not all foes are enemies, and that there are men prepared to sell out the human race in exchange for power and wealth. The Angel Committee dramatises UFO encounters of the 50s based on real life encounters and is the first part of a trilogy of novels following the exploits of Professor Frederick.
