Book Release on Tamil Genocide Was I a Stranger in My Homeland? – Has one two lives? A Book by Malavi Sivakanesan Melbourne: 5PM Saturday 5th July (Rotunda Theatre, Monash Uni Clayton) In her first ever book, the writer, 18 years old Malavi Sivakanesan, draws upon her visits to Tamil Eelam and describes her experience of life with the people of Tamil Eelam, including the leader of the LTTE, Vellupillai Pirabakaran. Being a Norwegian Tamil herself she has discussed her experience being born and brought up in two different cultures. Malavi Sivakanesan will be attending the book release.
