Book Review 9 Title: Common Sense – the Case Against An Out of Control Government Author: Glenn Beck Genre: Non-Fiction/Political Commentary I know that there are many out there who do not like Glenn Beck and who even think he is the devil incarnate but once again I will ask you to take a deep breath and relax. You don’t have to like him or even agree with all of his views. In fact, I don’t always agree with the things he says. That said I found this book full of great insights. It is a sober warning for Americans how the federal government, both democrats and republicans, are driving our country down a financial path of ruination. It should serve as a great wake-up call to all of us about the dangerous future our nation will face if something is not done about the careless spending policies of our leaders in government. I was so impressed with this book that I actually purchased two extra copies and inscribed them with one request; please read this book and pass it on to someone else. I then gave those copies to two friends, pointed out my request and asked them to read the book and do the same. I like to imagine those two books have been read by tens of dozens of people by now. As an extra bonus this book also includes a copy of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense which was very controversial during the time it was written and helped spur our founding fathers into declaring our independence from England. If you can spare around $12.00 I would suggest buying this book and reading it. It just might open your eyes to the oblivion the feds are leading us into.
