BookAbach.co.nz - undoubtedley the WORST website in all of NZ...Only website to have ever got me screaming at my computer....You see - I hadnt used BookAbach for about 5 years, having previously had a holiday home listed on there. Then a few weeks ago, I suddenly started recieving annoying weekly property summary emails for my listed property. Fair enough I thought, and tried to unsubscribe... Trouble is, I wasnt allowed to un-subscribe if I had an active property. Fair enough, I tried to log in to delete the property. Trouble is the password re-set system just automatically logged me in, but in order to CHANGE my password, I needed to know my old password. Problem is that without changing my password, I couldnt delete the property, in order to unsubcribe from emails that I didnt want from a listing that was 5 years old. And even though I was logged in through the password re-set function, I couldnt delete my account, because that wasnt an option, and I couldnt change my email address to something junk without confirming a new one. Locked into a circular prison of endless user interface issues and poor design choices, the tears just about started rolling down my face. My only saving grace was that I finally guessed my old password, allowing me to change my email address to [email protected]. So now I hope the receptionist at their office will also go through what I just have with their own site, and hopefully beat the rest of the staff to death in a frustrated rage with her handbag, thereby wiping this awful scourge of a site from cyberspace for good. Never, EVER use this website - if you have a bach, use bachcare.co.nz....
