Booked my Malaysia adventure today: 1 night at the Sun Inns in Kuala Selangor, 5 nights at Stephen Hoggs place in Frasers Hill and 6 nights at the bunkhouse in Mutiara in Taman Negara. Got 1 more night to book that will be in either Kuala Lumpur or an airport hotel. Costs were a lot higher than I initially budgeted so wont be able to afford a GPS but Im sure Ill be fine. Thanks to everyone who has helped, particularly AW Birder, Helena Craig, Mike Edgecombe, Martin Goodey and Robert Hutchinson. Ill be back here nearer the time to ask for gen on specific species and spots at the sites (and possibly to plead to borrow gear as my bank balance is severely depleted ;) )!
